Bird & Wright, P.C was founded in 1898 in Fullerton, Nebraska. Beginning as Kemp & Brower, the firm later expanded beyond Nance County. In the late 1990's the firm established Albion as it's main office.

Mr. Bird is a native of Kansas and a graduate of Kansas State University. He graduated from the University of Nebraska – College of Law in 1967 with his Juris Doctor. Mr. Bird was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Nebraska in 1967. Thereafter, he served in the Judge Advocate General branch of the United States Air Force. Mr. Bird moved to St. Edward, Nebraska in the 1970s and joined the firm which was then named Brouwer and Treadway.
Mr. Bird established a solo office for the firm in St. Edward and maintained such until establishing the firm’s present location in Albion, Nebraska in 1982. Mr. Bird retired from active practice in 2015.
Mr. Bird is married to his wife Linda and has two grown children Kristen and Andy and six grandchildren. Mr. Bird and his wife reside in Albion.
